Oncologist Dr Shum said the phytoestrogens in plants wouldn’t cause breast cancer. In fact, it could reduce the risk of death and relapse of breast cancer if there’s a daily intake of 10 mg of phytoestrogens, according to a recent big-scale research. There’s also another recent research that found eating soy protein products will reduce the risk of lung cancer. If there’s a daily intake of 1 oz of tofu, it will drop the risk by 7%.
